Testimonial – Ashan

Hello, my name is Ahsan Ali. I’m 17 years old. I have been part of dadsnlads since 2013. I got into dadsnlads through Mr. Tony Davis who worked in my school (Little Ilford School) and also ran a local football team called Newham warriors.

I always had passion for football and I often talked about football to Mr. Davis and one day he asked me to come and join our football club. I played last 2 seasons (2013-2014 and 2014-2015) with dadsnlads alongside with Neville, Keith, Collin and Andrew who were also run the team.

By this originsation getting in touch with my school helped me to stay on track as I was able to get the support from the coaches to balance out my football carrier with my education. This origination also helped me throughout the past years with my football coaching carrier as I used to help Mr. Davis to coach the U12/13 year’s players where I carried all that experience to become a qualified FA level 1 coach.

This helped to keep as many options open for me. Even today I will still go back and help the club/organisation as much as I can to coach their current football teams to carry on  building more coaching knowledge.
