  5. Dads and Lads vision for 2016.Our purpose is to end cruelty to children. Our vision is of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. From helplines to therapeutic services, the NSPCC runs over 180 projects that aim to prevent abuse to children, protect them from abuse and help them overcome the effects of abuse. We also seek to achieve cultural, social and political change – influencing legislation, policy, practice, attitudes and behaviours. We aim to achieve four key objectives to realise our vision by 2010: – to mobilise everyone to take action to end cruelty – to provide children with the help, support and environment they need to stay safe from cruelty – to find ways of working with communities to keep children safe from cruelty – to be, and be seen as, someone to turn to for children and young peopleThe Black Panther Party was started from the vision of an intellectual man. His name was Huey Newton, and he later became Dr. Huey Newton. His vision was to improve life for Africans-Americans in many different respects. His vision included freedom, full employment, decent housing, decent education, completely free healthcare, end of police brutality, end of all wars of aggression, and trials by a jury of peers. Newton expressed his views to two good friends, Bobby Seal and David Hilliard. They soon formed the Black Panther Party For Self Defense, and created the party’s ten point program. It included all of Huey Newton’s visionsOur statement is Education through Recreation: To enhance the lives of children, young adults and their families by providing healthy recreational activities and services that address their needs and aspirations.Foster) be a positive influence on their development by providing facilities for community participation in sport to help promote fitness, mutual respect and civic prideNurture) mentor children and young adults to help them achieve their potential
