10th anniversary and awards presentation
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dads & Lads and a highly successful year for its football club Newham Warriors, our awards presentation will be taking place at the House of Commons on Thursday 30th June.The event will take place 7pm-9pm.
In what promises to be a special occasion, Stephen Timms MP has kindly agreed to present trophies to our players in recognition of all their fantastic achievements season. Dads & Lads will also receive a donation from the Swan Foundation, which is a much needed anniversary gift!
To ensure a prompt 7pm start, we would like the boys and their guests to travel to the House together by public transport. Those parents and boys wanting to make their own way there, then you need to get off at Westminster underground station which is on the District and Jubilee lines.
Letters and invitations have already gone out to all the parents and players who were with us last season. If you were with us last season but have not received your invite, then let Tony Davis know by email on: tony@dadsnlads.org.uk ASAP as he is the RSVP contact. Light refreshments will be available on the night.
Smart dress is required and a club tie is available to purchase for £5.
